Luis Espino believes Real Madrid are struggling after losing Toni Kroos but remain a dangerous side with the same attitude.
Rayo Vallecano left-back Luis Espino believes Real Madrid are feeling the absence of Toni Kroos, the consistent control and passing ability that has weighed on the Los Blancos this season, Ufabet Sport reports on Friday.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid have struggled this season, partly due to the loss of Kroos, who retired from football at the end of last season. Rayo Vallecano left-back Espino believes the German’s absence has created a void that Los Blancos have been trying to fill.
‘Toni Kroos has given a lot to Real Madrid, that’s how I see everything he does,’ Espino said.
‘It doesn’t look like he’s doing that, but he’s always in good positions, he makes the team play and I think they’ve noticed a little bit of a flaw and they’re trying to compensate for it somehow.’
Despite these challenges, Espino admits Real Madrid’s attitude remains the same, so a single lapse in concentration or a single mistake against the Los Blancos would be enough to secure victory.
‘They miss him (Kroos), they are UFABET trying to fill the void. It’s difficult for them sometimes, but at the end of the day it’s Real Madrid and they win the game. If you lose focus a little bit, they win the game and if you make one mistake, they win you too.’
