Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers says facing Rangers in the cup final is always a special match.
The ‘Green and Whites’ are set to take on arch-rivals Rangers in Sunday’s League Cup final at Hampden Park, and Rodgers says a cup final against the Light Blues is always special.
“It’s a really special game with the final between Celtic and Rangers,” Rodgers said. “We played each other in the Scottish Cup final (last season) and it’s always good preparation for us.”
“There’s always excitement and for us it’s a special match, but the next game and the next game is the one we want to win. That’s our idea.”
“We enjoy playing at Hampden, we enjoy going there. The big stadium suits us, there’s a lot of space to play and that’s what we enjoyed about our time there.”
