Udinese veteran forward Alexis Sanchez is in contention to make his first appearance of the season against Napoli after being name in Saturday’s squad.
Alexis Sanchez first played for Udinese between 2006 and 2011 before moving to Barcelona, followed by Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Marseille and Inter again last season.
After his contract with Inter Milan team expire, the 35-year-old star return to join the Udinese team again this season, but was found to have a chronic injury in the thigh area, causing him to not have play in a single official match for the team.
Udinese coach Costa Runjaic has revealed the Chilean veteran will be in the squad for his first appearance of the season against leaders Napoli on Saturday, December 14.
“We are focus on the game and Alexis will be in the team,” Runyaic told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“This is great news. We will see if he Register ufabet can play a little bit. It depends on a lot of factors. He is back in the group, not 100% fit yet, but he will be in the team.”
The Udinese coach did not confirm that Sanchez will play against Napoli on Saturday. Admitting that ‘it depends on several factors’, but the Chilean will be with the first team group on matchday.
“We are focused on the game and Alexis Sanchez will finally be with us.” Runjaic said in his pre-match press conference, report via La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“This is great news, we will see if he can play a few minutes, it depends on several factors. He is back in the group, even if he is not yet in top form, but he will be there.”
